Effect of TaC/Ti/Si3N4 Hard Ceramics on Mechanical and Microstructural Behaviour of AA7075 Processed through Stir Casting Process

A liquid metallurgical stir casting route was utilized for developing aluminium alloy (7075) matrix composites blended with fluctuating wt% of silicon nitride (Si3N4), tantalum carbide (TaC), and titanium (Ti) sake generating a profitable composite enhanced properties. The physical, microstructural, mechanical characteristics such as density, high temperature tensile, fatigue, time-dependent creep experiments were conducted evaluated. SEM microstructural examinations performed on the samples proved that there good interfacial bonding uniform dissemination among reinforcement particulates in matrix. Physical analysed outcomes showed AA7075 1 TaC, 8 Si3N4, 0.5 Ti higher experimental theoretical densities 3.2464 g/cm3 3.3038 g/cm3, respectively, maximum porosity 1.7758%.
